From the time I was young, I dreamed of becoming the kind of fisherman who could take friends and family out on the water and give them a true coastal adventure. What started as a personal goal—to be “good enough” to share the joy of fishing with the people I love—slowly became a calling. As my skills grew, so did my desire to share that joy with others. Interestingly, guiding isn’t my full-time profession. I serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for McIntosh County. My career in public education has given me a deep love for teaching, and that naturally carries over to my time on the water. Just as I guide students through learning, I guide guests through the process of finding fish—teaching them techniques, encouraging them when it’s tough, and celebrating every success along the way.
